Feminist ethics is a kind of moral theory which is distinguished by its attention to women’s experience of oppression and which seeks to criticize and change unjust social structures and practises. Both a critique of mainstream moral theorizing, and an attempt to develop new moral theories which are engaged with women’s lives, feminist ethics is an exciting and growing area of research in the field of moral philosophy.
